This type of filter is not suitable for filtering relatively concentrated alkaline solutions, hot concentrated phosphoric acid and hydrofluoric acid solutions (which will corrode glass), and it is also not suitable for filtering slurry precipitates (which will block the pores of the sand core), and insoluble precipitates (due to the precipitation cannot be cleaned. , such as silica). In order to prevent cracking and filter shedding, heating and cooling should be carried out slowly. After drying, it should be cooled down to warm in the oven before taking it out.
